5 Ingredient Slow Cooker Steak Fajitas

What are we having for dinner?  Busy, hectic lives call for easy recipes. What is easier than a crock pot? Throw all the ingredients into the slow cooker and voila, dinner… and leftovers if you do it right. This easy five ingredient steak fajita recipe, checks the healthy, easy, and yummy boxes.
            Before you go to work in the morning, cut up the steak and all the veggies. Toss them into the slow cooker. This meal can be easily personalized to fit your family’s specific likings. Want to add some spice? Get the hot salsa and throw in some jalapenos. Do you have some picky eaters and sensitive tummies? Choose the mild salsa and be conservative with the fajita seasoning. Swap out veggies or add in new ones, customize these fajitas to your own taste. This recipe is perfect for a family on the go, a college student, or a busy worker.  Don’t waste precious time slaving away in the kitchen. Serve with warm tortillas or for a low carb option, serve over romaine lettuce. Top with sour cream, cheese, and green onions. These fajitas are sure to be a hit!
5 Ingredient Slow Cooker Steak Fajitas
10 oz. Pat LaFrieda Strip Steak
7.75 oz. FreshPro Fresh Cut Sliced Peppers
1 red onion
20 oz. of salsa
1 packet of fajita seasoning
1.     Add salsa to bottom of the slow cooker.
2.     Add beef, onion, bell pepper and fajita seasoning. Stir to mix well and evenly.
3.     Cook LOW 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
